Quantitative aptitude and reasoning is one of the important two sections in most of the competitive examinations in India. Most of our government, bank or public service examinations, aptitude section is one of the rank deciding section. Because companies need candidates having both disciplines knowledge and strong aptitude skills.

In my experience, the engineering students or B.E/B.Tech graduates with 65% and above marks have a basic knowledge in their disciplines. But due to lack of practice, they have very low aptitude skills. In the graduation years, there is no need to face aptitude questions which are not included in their syllabus.

But the greatest truth is without having a strong aptitude skills along with your discipline knowledge, you couldn't crack any public service or engineering companies competitive exams.

So, to improve your aptitude skills, you need to PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE!!!!

This is the only mantra for getting good aptitude skills and thereby you can easily crack exam. In this post I can give you some useful aptitude books list which are helped me a lot to face Indian competitive exams.
