GRSE Eligibility

Degree:-

Candidates should have 4 year engineering degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc) from AMIE approved institutes. For all posts, candidates have overall 60% (General or UR) and 55% (reserved or SC/ST/OBC/PH) aggregate or equivalent CGPA marks need to apply for the posts.

Technical engineering disciplines are Mechanical, Mechanical & Industrial engineering, Mechanical & Production engineering, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical & instrumentation, Navel architecture, Ocean engineering & Navel architecture, navel architecture & shipbuilding, Navel architecture & marine engineering and Navel architecture & ocean engineering.

Candidates who apply for Finance section should have CA/ICWA qualification.

Candidates for HR (human Resource post must have 2 year full time MBA/PG Degree/PG Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Social works/ Labour welfare discipline.

Age Limit:- up to 28 Years as on 01 September 2015 (maximum). SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen have age relaxation as per government rules.

GRSE Selection Procedure

1. Written test (Objective type)


2. From the written test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview.


3. Candidates need to separately qualify for both written test and interview


4. The final selection of GRSE is based on the candidate’s medical fitness. (as per GRSE medical recruitment rules)

GRSE Written Test

GRSE mainly conduct a 90 minutes objective test paper contains multiple choice questions of your discipline knowledge and general aptitude. The examination centers are Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Guwahati.

There are total 85 multiple choice questions; 50 question from the discipline knowledge and 35 from the English, numerical ability, reasoning and data analysis.
